Pace High Athlete of the Week

A team captain, Carney won two individual events at a meet last week in Navarre, taking first in the 100 breastroke (1:02.41) and 100 butterfly (59.71).

Carney also stepped up for the Patriots in two relay events, helping the 200 medley relay team and 200 freestyle relay squad earn victories at the meet. He helped the Patriots finish as the runner-up in the boys standings at the meet.
