Milton PIO uses humor to spread hope amid cancer diagnosis

The City of Milton would like residents to know it has joined the Galactic Federation, that they should watch out for Stewart Little and that “Stim Stantori” is on the scene, providing weather reports from Carpenter’s Park splash pad.

They take weather very seriously. That part is real.

What is also real is the person behind the posts and the personal fight she goes through every day.

Bethany Anderson has served as the City of Milton’s public information officer for nearly four years. She’s the creative force behind the city’s humorous social media posts. Now, she’s using her platform to encourage others to get checked for cancer.
