Milton says more residents now qualify for flood insurance discounts

The City of Milton announced March 13 that more residents may now be eligible for a 20% discount on federally backed flood insurance premiums because of changes to the Community Rating System, a FEMA program that rewards communities for floodplain management and mitigation efforts.
