Looking back at Jay’s boys basketball season

Jay’s boys basketball team wrapped up its season last Thursday night with a 46-29 loss to Paxton in the Rural District 1 tournament.

The Royals finish the year with a 9-14 record. Despite the challenges, effort was never an issue for Jay, which had only three seniors on the roster.

Tanner Mandell was one of the area’s top scoring threats this year.
