A gold Mazda pickup truck driven by a 65-year-old Milton man was traveling southbound on SR-87 N; a white Dodge pickup truck was traveling northbound on SR-87 N, driven by a 51-year-old Navarre man. The Mazda pickup crossed the center lanes of the road and collided with the Dodge. The driver of the Dodge was transported to a local hospital in Pensacola with serious injuries. The Milton man driving the Mazda sustained fatal injuries. According to the crash report from Florida Highway Patrol, the Milton driver was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
