919th SOAMXS begins new chapter with local ceremony

Hurlburt Field – The 919th Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron held an assumption of command ceremony Nov. 3, 2024, marking a new era for aircraft maintenance spanning more than five decades of the Wing’s storied history.
Maj. Lauren Chargualaf assumed command of the 919th Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, from Col. Todd Rushford, 919 SOMXG commander during an assumption of command ceremony at Hurlburt Field, Fla. Nov. 3, 2024. The event marked a milestone in the 919 SOW’s history as it signifies the first time aircraft maintenance is being performed somewhere other than Duke Field, Fla.
